Idk I just really like the idea that Tails takes the time to get to know Knuckles and Shadow and to understand them better

Sonic thinking he's goading Shadow into racing him while Shadow gets progressively more frustrated and closed off from being in the same space as him whatsoever, and Tails surprising Sonic (who thought Tails would join in) popping in to explain that to Shadow Sonic is just targeting him for no reason

Sonic going on a whole tangent after a Knuckles encounter about how he doesn't understand him half the time and Tails (instead of agreeing like Sonic expects) trying to explain to him what he thinks Knuckles meant

I also love it when Tails is oblivious to Sonic's joking or teasing moments and starts explaining what's happening instead tbh😂

It's also funny to imagine Sonic acting like he woke up in the wrong universe today because Knuckles and/or Shadow (who are currently being prickly) fall back on Tails to explain what they mean to Sonic, who was being a jerk for his own amusement and to goad them into having a friendly fight, and was expecting Tails to back him up

The fact of the matter is billy IS an extremely woman-coded character and all it takes is looking at how his narrative around sex and sexuality is portrayed like he gets a very classically female coded (especially within the horror genre) narrative but people just get mad when you bring it up because he’s a “terrible character who deserves bad things happening to him” which is enough to unpack in itself but also maybe y’all should inspect why you’re so quick to call Nice Guy characters woman-coded or just characters you personally like….

But also the fact I’ve seen firsthand people get mad that we say billy is woman-coded is so beyond hysterical that even if I didn’t have these thoughts already I’d start believing them just out of spite
